The Cactus Jones Shipping and Returns Policy

Shipping


We send out shipments once a week — on Wednesdays.  So, if your plant does not need any preparation before shipment, we will ship to you within 1 to 6 days, depending on the week day you made purchase. If your plant (cactus cutting) needs to be harvested after purchase, it could add an additional 1-2 weeks (depending on cutting thickness) for that cutting to safely callous before shipment.  


Whenever possible, we ship flat rate. For rarer occasions when a purchase cannot fit into a small, medium or large flat rate box, we may need to contact the customer to adjust shipping cost.

Returns & exchanges


We do not accept returns or exchanges, but please contact us if you have any problems with your order.


Returns and exchanges


The Cactus Jones will not be held responsible, nor refund or exchange purchase, for any of the following reasons :


  • Plants frozen during shipment (we ship from a “never freeze” climate zone). Always be aware of temperature in your region.
  • Plants seized in customs (if shipping internationally or to Hawaii)
  • Plant injury from package damage caused after it leaves our shipping facility.


Because each plant must be harvested for your order, plants may not be returned. Orders shipped may not be cancelled. Orders returned or rejected without our express permission may be subject to a restocking/replanting fee, up to 100% of the purchase price, depending upon the plant and circumstances.  


Wrong Address: We can't be responsible if you provided a wrong address on your order, so please double check before placing the order. Be especially aware if you've recently moved, your shipping data may not have updated! In cases where the package is returned to us, we can re-ship it but you'll have to pay postage.


We're fanatical about our customer service. We hope you'll be 100% satisfied. If for any reason you're not, please contact us immediately and we will do our best to satisfy you. Your complete satisfaction is important to us!


Although we ship only healthy, high quality plants, it is important to remember that they are not perfect, nor is any living thing. Minor imperfections are normal.  If imperfections are beyond “minor”, they will be completely described in the listing before your purchase decision.
